Lisa was called to the bar in July 2017 and has a special interest in criminal (including domestic violence and protection), family, medical negligence, as well as commercial and civil matters.
Lisa has extensive experience prior to the bar in the medical field and this has extended to her legal practice, as well as undertaking further research in children’s health law. Lisa is a versatile advocate representing clients in all jurisdictions, including State and Federal Courts, as well as Tribunals.
Lisa has a particular interest in criminal law and has had the advantage of acting both for defence and as Crown Prosecutor in criminal matters before the Federal and Supreme Courts.
In addition to her legal work, Lisa is a nationally accredited mediator and accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, who specialises in family law mediations, for property and parenting matters. Lisa is known for being diligent, approachable and easy to work with.
