Angela Julian-Armitage
Experience
With over 30 years experience as a barrister, Ms Julian-Armitage's prime expertise is Immigration Law. However, she also has extensive knowledge and experience in Administrative Law, Commercial Litigation, Family Law and Succession Law.
Ms Julian-Armitage served as the National and State President of Queensland and the Northern Territory of the Migration Institute of Australia. At present, Angela is a Board Member of the Migration Institute of Australia. Ms Julian-Armitage served as a Tribunal member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal in the General Division hearing and determining mandatory cancellation of visas for character reasons and in the Migration and Refugee Division.
In her role with the Migration Institute, Ms Julian-Armitage works with others in the legal field, including those involved in humanitarian efforts. Her expertise spans other areas of Australian programs, including business visas. Ms Julian-Armitage is also an AMDRAS accrediated mediator.
Ms Julian-Armitage is multi-lingual. She is fluent in English, Spanish and Italian and conversational in Portugese and French.
